This program is also designed to prepare the student for a specialized ministry in the counseling of individuals, couples, families and special focus groups within the context of the local church, para-church ministries, church-related agencies, or other religious settings. Counseling classes are included. The Master level student also receives Christian Counseling Certification with his or her Master’s degree upon successful completion of required course work. Each chapel setting is worth 3 credit hours which totals 27 hours per year. Finally, the thesis is worth 30 credit hours.

The Doctor of Divinity  degree focuses on historical, systematic, and biblical theology, and biblical variations. This degree takes the scholar on an in-depth comprehensive knowledge of who God is. Courses at this level dives deeply into the study of the book of Genesis while integrating other biblical facts and contents. You can gain biblical insights and critical-thinking skills to help you dissect leadership styles, philosophical models, theories, and change dynamics. You’ll also examine how God develops leaders and how to unlock a person’s leadership potential as you can expand your expertise in your chosen concentration.
